The unglazed clay (or “bisque”) portion of your puffware wasn’t a mistake and is perfectly safe to use. While glaze makes ceramics easier to clean and more durable than bisque, portions of most food-safe ceramics are left unglazed so they can be fired without the glaze sticking to the kiln. All ceramics absorb some liquid—even dishwasher-safe ceramics. But our fashion smoking ceramics have a very low absorption rate because of the type of clay we use and the high temperatures we fire them at.
A one hitter is the easiest kind of pipe to use. Just pack the bowl end with your blend and light. You can read (or print) instructions here. And for the a-to-z of the one hitter, including why you’ll love using one, read this article or watch this video about how to use a one hitter.
Pre-rolled cones are one of the easiest fashion smoking accessories to use Just pour in your blend, tamp, and twist to close. Pre-rolled cones couldn’t be simpler. If you’re still not sure, watch this video.
Papers made from hemp are great for the environment because it’s such a high-carbon capture crop. But hemp is also so good at pulling things out of the soil that it’s used to help clean up toxic waste dumps. So, it’s equally good at pulling pesticides out of the soil and storing them in its fibers. That means, when you’re smoking hemp, you definitely want to go organic.
Hemp papers aren’t just fashion smoking accessories. They’re also are good for the environment. That’s because hemp is one of the highest carbon-capture crops. So, when you roll with hemp papers, you’re helping protect our planet.
Don’t worry, we got you. Fashion smoking is our middle name. Just check out our written instructions here or watch this video about how use our rolling tray.
Hemp wick is a better alternative to lighting with chemical accelerants. Matches contain phosphorus, and lighters contain butane. When you light your smoke directly with them, you can’t help but inhale some of these harmful chemicals. Plus, hemp wick has a much lower burning temperature. That means you can light with a hemp wick much more precisely and are less likely to waste your blend with an uneven burn. To learn more, read about the benefits of hemp wick.
It’s so easy! Just unwrap a little of the wick. Then, light it and use it to light your blend. When you’re done, simply press the beeswax-covered wick end back onto the holder. Or watch this video to see exactly how to use our hemp wick holder.
We got you! First, the 10 feet of hemp on our wick holder should last you quite a while. But our fashion smoking accessories are more than just pretty. So, when you do run out, here’s what to do. Just buy some replacement wick, thread it through the tiny hole in the middle of our holder and tie the part inside the holder into a knot. Voilá! Wrap your new wick around your holder, and you’re good to go.
Our Manhattan Match Striker gives you 2 ways to get lit. Safety matches are the ones that are easiest to buy. That’s because they won’t light accidentally unless you strike them against another source of phosphorus. So, to make refilling our match striker easier, we added a phosphorus striking dot on the bottom of our holder. Or, if you’re old-school, you can refill our holder with strike-anywhere matches. Unlike the included safety matches, you can ignite strike-anywhere matches just by rubbing them across any rough surface—like the unglazed bottom of our holder.
When the original striking plate on our match holder wears off, just peel it off. Next, clean off any residue before replacing it. Then, just peel and stick the new one on.
The easiest way to keep your puffware squeaky clean is to use rubbing alcohol with a cotton swab. Read our secrets for how to clean your puffware or watch this video to see how. Occasionally, the insides of our pipes can contain some residue from having been fired in a kiln. If you find some in your pipe, just dip a cotton swab in some rubbing alcohol and use it to gently clean the residue off.
Nope! We’re women-owned, but we cater to the chic of all persuasions.

Handcrafted Puffware
All our puff pieces start in the artist’s studio. We always collaborate with artists to design fashion smoking accessories with both exceptional functionality and form. So, many of our products are completely handmade. For us, it’s always important to see the artist’s hand. Even when that means variations and small imperfections, we love surrounding ourselves with creations made by people who have a passion for instilling meaning into everyday objects.
