Our yellow match striker and holder gives you 2 ways to get lit. Safety matches are the ones that are easiest to buy. That’s because they won’t light accidentally unless you strike them against another source of phosphorus. So, to make refilling our match striker easier, we added a phosphorus striking dot on the bottom of our holder. Or, if you’re old-school, you can refill our holder with strike-anywhere matches. Unlike the included safety matches, you can ignite strike-anywhere matches just by rubbing them across any rough surface—like the unglazed bottom of our holder.
When the original striking plate on our match holder wears off, just peel it off. Next, clean off any residue before replacing it. Then, just peel and stick the new one on.
