This blue is called Keun Cornflower Blue, named for Korean-American artist Keun Young Park. She creates works on paper built from thousands of hand-torn photograph fragments, reassembled into floating figures and faces that appear to be dissolving and reforming at the same moment. Each piece vibrates with quiet energy, somewhere between beginning and end. This cornflower blue has that same in-between quality: grounded enough to feel steady, alive enough to keep shifting.
