Color Story
This brown is called Chicago Cinnamon, named for feminist artist Judy Chicago. She spent five years making The Dinner Party, a monumental installation that set a place at the table for 39 women history had largely written out. To do it, she taught herself china painting and needlework, elevating so-called women's crafts into one of the most important artworks of the 20th century. A warm, rich, unapologetic color for a woman who was exactly that.
